[News] 2019 Working Conference of Art Science Committee, China Science Writers Association Held

The 2019 working conference of the Art Science Committee, China Science Writers Association, with 12 members in attendance, was held in Beijing on January 10. During the conference, which was presided over by Tian Rusen, Director of the Committee, Deputy Director Du Aijun summarized the work of the Committee in 2018.

The members reviewed the work on art science in 2018 carefully, exchanged their experience on writing of science art, and discussed over how to advance the work in 2019. It was agreed that the Committee should, under the leadership of CSWA, actively engage in writing of art science and produce more excellent art science works. Besides, they deemed it necessary to strengthen training and counseling for young people’s at science and art science-fiction writing, hold various forms of art science publicity activities, and participate in various art science promotion activities actively.

It was also believed during the conference that the Committee should strengthen the liaison with other committees to establish cooperation and learn from each other, thereby giving their advantages into full play and continuously boosting art science.
